Reusable Bag Project
The need to reduce, reuse, and recycle is continually increasing. Vermont laws are on their way to eliminate the use of single-use bags in retail stores. The Waterbury Rotary Club is getting involved with our Reusable Bag Project.
Over the past few months many community members have submitted and voted on Waterbury-themed designs! Huge thanks to everyone who submitted designs, voted for designs and shared our project with friends and family.
The Votes are in! Design #6 by Elijah Werth will be featured on the Waterbury Rotary Club Reusable Bags!
Bags are now in! They may be purchased at Axel’s Frame Shop & Gallery, Bridgeside Books, Hannon Home Center, Proud Flower, Stowe Street Emporium, Sunflower Natural Foods, and the Very Merry Waterbury Holiday Artisans’ Boutique, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
For just $5 per bag, you can help reduce the number of plastic bags in Waterbury to zero!
